Blueprint, a new open call for aspiring curators, is launching today! We hope it will support and encourage new curatorial voices wishing to exchange ideas on contemporary practice and engage audiences with fresh perspectives.
We invite passionate and ambitious emerging curators to submit exhibition proposals for our 1000 square foot space, for 2 group shows taking place in June and July 2012.
The chosen curators or teams shall install their show over a 9 day period. The show itself will be open for 3 days, in keeping with the micro-show approach of Motorcade/FlashParade. During this period, the curator will present a curators talk in the space. The selected curators will also provide a short text to accompany their show, that engages both specialist audiences and wider sections of the public in the debates that the exhibitions address.
Blueprint is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England
